By the late nineteen twenties, St. Joseph's had begun to grow in strength and stature and it was found expedient to develop the boarding facilities and more and more children poured in from the remote stations. Consequently in 1929, more buildings and accommodations came up. The school has come a long way since then, and the year 1995 saw th installation of solar plant with steam cooking. The accommodation has ample space designated for Senior Dormitories, Junior Dormitories, Dining rooms, Junior Study Halls , Senior Study Halls , Box Rooms

Students are provided with four main meals and in case of any particular religious preferences, adjustments may be made. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food is served. Admission for all classes for the boarding will be done in the month of January and the applications forms for the same will be issued from the month of December every year.

Catholic students are bound to attend all the public religious exercises stipulated by the management and they are to frequent the Sacraments according to the advice of the Spiritual Director and the laws of the Church .
