A 24-bed infirmary, manned by a full time qualified nurse, and an assistant, takes care of the medical needs of the school and boarding. There is a well equipped dispensary and hospital with an attached isolation Ward. A trained nurse resides on the premises. A fully qualified Medical Practitioner visits the Hospital on alternative days. A panel of doctors is always available on 24 hours notice for any medical emergency. The school ambulance transports boys during emergencies and is also used for the conveyance of boys to specialists. The best specialists of Ootacamund are on the panel of the school that is also reviewed on an annual basis. |

A well qualified and experienced nurse and a doctor are in charge of the infirmary to look after the sick. Children will not be admitted if they are suffering from any disease or chronic illness. A general certificate of good health must be produced at the time of admission.
All the boarders receive periodic medical examination during the year by the school doctor. Parents will not be necessarily informed of minor ailments such as common colds, flu, etc., but will be promptly notified in case of anything serious |
