School Children Health

A full time qualified and experienced nurse and a visiting doctor are in charge of the infirmary to take care of the sick and medical emergencies.

Children will not be admitted if they are suffering from any disease or chronic illness. A general certificate of good health must be produced at the time of admission. Children, before admission, must have received a full course of anti polio vaccine and a certificate to this effect must be produced. Parents are advised to have their children examined by a dentist during the long vacation and by an oculist when necessary.

All boarders receive periodical medical examination during the year by the school doctor. Parents will not be necessarily informed of minor ailments such as common colds, flu, etc. but they will be promptly notified in case of anything serious.

Maximum care will be taken for the safety of every child. However, if any unavoidable accident takes place, the school authorities will not be held responsible.
