A full time qualified and experienced
nurse and a visiting doctor are in charge of the infirmary to take care
of the sick and medical emergencies.
Children will not be admitted if they
are suffering from any disease or chronic illness. A general certificate
of good health must be produced at the time of admission. Children,
before admission, must have received a full course of anti polio vaccine
and a certificate to this effect must be produced. Parents are advised
to have their children examined by a dentist during the long vacation
and by an oculist when necessary.
All boarders receive periodical medical
examination during the year by the school doctor. Parents will not be
necessarily informed of minor ailments such as common colds, flu, etc.
but they will be promptly notified in case of anything serious.
Maximum care will be taken for the safety
of every child. However, if any unavoidable accident takes place, the
school authorities will not be held responsible.
